MatchRated is a small independent site. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to understand how the site is used. There are no accounts, no email lists, no advertising and no sale of data to anyone, ever.
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages get used. This sets analytics cookies in your browser. You can decline these via the cookie bar (or revisit your choice through "Cookie choices" in the footer). If you decline, your visit is still counted as an anonymous, cookieless signal with no persistent identifier. Advertising cookies and ad personalisation are switched off for everyone, everywhere, regardless of your choice.

None of this identifies you personally. Leaderboard data is stored with Cloudflare in the European Union region.
Your theme choice, cookie decision, chosen nation and personal best are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
Cloudflare (site hosting and the leaderboard database) and Google (analytics, as described above). Match data shown on the site comes from public sources and sports data providers and involves no personal data.
Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold and ask for it to be deleted. Since we hold nothing identifiable, the practical answer is usually "nothing", but you can reach us via flux-dynamics.co.uk and we will help.
